Location is excellent, only a block from Plaza Independencia, the center of Tucuman City. Good restaurants nearby. Don't miss El Portal as described in Lonely Planet. Very rustic, good value and service. Several museums also near. Overall nice front desk people, but didn't tell me to look for hotelfrancia3 WiFi router. In our room 209, hotelfrancia1 didn't work. Took me a day to discover this. The hotelfrancia3 router popped up after I complained at the front desk. Very nice breakfast buffet. No meat or cheese, but decent expanded continental-style breakfast. with fresh fruit, two flavors drinkable yoghurts, pastries, breads with toaster, tarts, coffee, hot milk, orange juice.
When arrived given wrong room. Asked for a double, was given a triple with single beds. Front desk woman said there was no request for double bed room. I pointed out my request on her copy of my reservation. Then she moved us. The triple room had no chair or table/surface of any kind. The double bed room had a small wall-mounted desk but light for it missing bulb. Also air conditioner missing both control knobs. Replaced on request. Very difficult to plug in multiple items I carry: laptop, iPod, camera battery recharger, etc. Luckily I brought an extension cord, multiple adapters and triple taps. All except the bathroom outlet required smaller diameter, two-pin adapter. I only had large diameter, two-pin adapters. Many hours of falling water sound from light well which our window opened onto. Strange.

The free breakfast was decent, with a variety of options to choose from. the location was also convenient, as there were plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The overall experience was disappointing. the room was quite small and outdated, with old furniture and a musty smell.

The price charged was higher than the one quoted by Booked.net.

Good location, ok price
One of the front desk staff (middle aged man) was absolutely horrible - spoke no English and made no attempt to help even with a flight confirmation. Gave incorrect info about how to get to the airport. Other staff were far better. The hotel is pretty basic but fine if you're alone and just looking for place to crash. There was a loud buzz/hum at times in the room that could affect sleep quality. The 'view' from the room was of a wall a few feet away. Wifi did not work in the room.

Great Location and Helpful Staff!
If you're planning a trip to this city, this hotel is a great option. It's in a prime location, with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. the breakfast was tasty and had a good variety of options to choose from. On top of all that, the rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.
The amenities at this hotel are a bit limited. The air conditioning was not working very well and the Wi-Fi also had some connection issues.

Located at the heart of the city, the hotel is a stone's throw away from the main plaza and within walking distance of all major sights and restaurants. it is conveniently close to the bus station, making it easy to get around.
Sadly, the hotel's facilities and service leave much to be desired.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Its central location made it easy for me to explore everything this city has to offer. The hotel staff is friendly, and they made me feel welcome. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed taking a hot shower after a long day of exploring. The hotel facilities were great as well, and I especially liked the breakfast.
Nothing it is perfect.
